What kind of personal data is collected and processed?
You can visit this website without providing any personal data. We have access only to the name of your internet provider, the website from which you arrived, the version of your browser and the individual pages you have accessed. Thus, it is not possible for us to form personalised user profiles. Personal data is collected and processed only when particular services are used.

For what purpose is personal data collected and processed?
We strive constantly to improve our services for guests and interested parties, e.g. through individualization. To enable us to do this, the above-mentioned general data is evaluated anonymously for statistical purposes. If you choose to use our services, we will generally collect only that data which is necessary for the service to be provided. If we ask for more in-depth data, providing this data will be optional (fields not marked as mandatory). Personal data is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the service required by you and protecting our own legitimate business interests. Use of online facilities and services requiring additional data requires the express permission of the user for voluntarily submitted information to be processed.

Will personal data be passed to third parties?
We will not disclose, sell or otherwise market your personal data to other companies or institutions without your express permission. This does not apply in cases where we are required to disclose and pass on data by law or by a court order.

Our Booking Conditions

Great to have you as our guest! We will make sure that you can fully enjoy your trip, get expert travel advice and want to travel with us again. Here is some important fine print that we all cannot do without.

Payment

Once a booking request has been made by you and once AsiaTrips has confirmed your booking, you will be required to make a deposit payment to AsiaTrips within 15 days of receiving your booking confirmation. Deposit amounts are listed on each agreed itinerary and is typically 20 % of the tour cost, unless some suppliers (e. g. cruises operators) require a higher deposit amount in which case we will inform you about the deposit amount in your itinerary. Failure to pay the deposit will mean your booking will be cancelled. The main payment for the trip is due 6 weeks before the tour starts. Booking made less than 2 months before the tour start date will require full payment at time of booking confirmation by AsiaTrips.

Tour Inclusions

Each AsiaTrips booking includes different services in terms of included activities, meals and transport. These details are included in the detailed itinerary we provide you as the basis for your booking. AsiaTrips reserves the right to change inclusions as listed due to operational or other factors. Due refunds of moneys paid will be made where appropriate.

Cancellation by you

Should you (the guest) choose to cancel a booking, AsiaTrips must be notified in writing or by email.

The following cancellation fees apply for our multiday tours:
(any exception from the cost listed below will be mentioned in the agreed itinerary)

• more than 2 months before departure, full refund less a booking fee of 150 USD per person
• more than 21 days before departure, 65 % refund
• 20 to 6 days before departure, 50 % refund
• from 5 to 2 days before departure, 25 % refund
• from 48 hours before the tour starts, loss of all payments made
• turning up late to the starting point of the tour for whatever reason is considered a late cancellation and will result in a loss of all payments made
• no refund will be made should you voluntarily leave a tour early for any reason

If your initial payment was by bank transfer, then we will refund accordingly but all bank fees will be at your expense.

Contractual partner

AsiaTrips is a brand of Asia Services Holding Co. Ltd. (ASH). ASH acts as the agent for AsiaTrips in the respective country/countries you will travel to. We provide customer service and process payments for AsiaTrips in the respective countries. Your contractual partner is AsiaTrips in the country you are travelling to. However, ASH will always do its best to help you communicate with the the local AsiaTrips teams and to help you protect your interests should problems ever arise.
