Enjoy the stunning scenery and unique villages within the UNESCO World Heritage area of Halong Bay with a multi night cruise on a spacious Au Co luxury boat. Thousands of limestone islands have been thrust out of the emerald sea and are surrounded by lively floating villages.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay (L, D)

After breakfast, embark upon a 3.5-hour drive through the fertile farmlands of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay. Along the way, observe the everyday life of Vietnamese villagers as they work the rice fields, transport pigs to the market on motorbikes and plough the fields with water buffaloes. Upon arrival, board your boat for the Au CO cruise. Lunch will be served on board. Cruise by Thien Cung and Me Cung caves, and Soi Sim and Titov islands. Enjoy the tranquility of Lan Ha Bay and the Ho Ba Ham islets with a guided kayaking tour or refreshing swim. Set anchor for the night and enjoy a sunset dinner. Overnight on Au Co Cruise

Day 2: Cat Ba Island and Bai Tu Long Bay (B, L, D)

After breakfast, cruise to Cat Ba Island’s national park. This dense rainforest home to numerous indigenous species of flora and fauna. Enjoy a short walk or cycling trip to the secluded village of Viet Hai, for a visit to the organic farms. Next, travel to the remote Bai Tu Long Bay, famed for its variety of magnificent geological rock formations. You will take a relaxing row boat tour through these formations and the floating village of Cong Dam. Overnight on Au Co Cruise

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi  (B)

Enjoy brunch as your boat weaves through the magnificent rock formations on the return trip. Upon disembarkation your driver will meet you for the transfer back to Hanoi. On the return from Halong Bay to Hanoi visit Phu Lang Pottery Village, one of the last remaining pottery villages. Spend time at the village the workshops which have been producing ceramics since the 13th century using traditional techniques. After visiting Phu Lang continue to Hanoi where you will arrive mid afternoon.

• Deluxe Cabin:
14 cabins of 20 – 25 sq m each, located on the main deck and equipped with en-suite bathrooms and individually adjustable air conditioning units. Tastefully furnished with parquet floors. Balconies.
• Executive Cabin:
12 cabins of 20 sq m each, located on the upper deck and equipped with en-suite bathrooms and individually adjustable air conditioning units. Large panoramic doors afford guests fantastic views. Cabins features a harmonious blend of modern design and traditional elements. Large balconies provide the perfect place for guests to unwind.
• Long Quan Suites:
2 generously-proportioned cabins of 36 sq m each, located on the upper deck. Large private balconies provide ample space for relaxation. En-suite bathrooms with bathtub and separate shower. Guests enjoy additional luxuries such as bowls of fresh fruit and a bottle of Sekt on arrival.
• Au Co Suites:
These two large suites are located in the stern of the ship on the upper deck. Generously-proportioned private balconies and large windows are particular highlights. Guests enjoy the use of an amply-sized en-suite bathroom with bathtub and separate rain shower. Additional luxuries include bowls of fresh fruit and a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival.
