Chin to Mrauk Oo Trekking Tour
from Yangon/ to Mrauk U
Day 1: Yangon Arrival (B,-,-)
On arrival at the International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and driver who will take you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and leisure for the day.
Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon to Bagan and Bagan Sightseeing (B,-,-)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the domestic airport to fly to Bagan. From the 11th to 13th centuries, when Bagan was the capital of Myanmar, the rulers constructed thousands of huge stupas and temples many of which are still standing today on the banks of the Irrawaddy River.
On arrival, your journey begins with a visit an elevated temple from where you will have a panoramic view of the magnificent plains of Bagan. Continue with a visit to the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda for an introduction in to Bagan’s rich history. Then, visit to nearby Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite jataka mural paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. This afternoon begin with a visit to a traditional lacquer ware workshop where you can observe the production of one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Continue to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagan’s most beautiful temples. Built in the early Mon-style, Ananda contains two unique Buddha images whose expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed. Finally , take a tour passing Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan, massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork, and Sulamani Temple.
Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of one of the temples.

Day 3: Bagan to Kanpalett (B,L,D,)
After breakfast at the hotel, a full day tour starts with a private jeep or 4WD to Kanpalat. And then, take about one hour drive along Ayeyarwaddy River to Chauk, where have a sightseeing of morning market. The next route is to drive to Seikphyu village which lines on the other site of the mightly Ayeyarwaddy River. After that, proceed to one of the big Burmese villages, named Kazunma Village, in Magwe Division. After lunch drive among the forested mountains. It will be a good time to take photos of the nature.
Driving in the dry zone takes about 3 hours before we arrive at Saw, a small administrative town, where stop for a tea brake. Then keep up driving for 12 miles to Kanpalat, a small administrative town of Chin People. Chin women with tattooed faces and ways of life of the Chin tribes can be observed in this small town. In the evening, check in Pine Wood Villa which is situated among the pine forest about 3000 ft above sea level, for night stop.
The cool climatic condition on the hill will be lovely for you while seizing enjoyable dinner and night stay at Chin Eco Lodge.
Overnight in Kanpalat
Day 4: Jeep to Trekking point of Mt.Victoria & overnight at Aye Village (B,L,D,)
Under the rising sun, scenic driving to the base camp of Mt. Victoria, 10 miles away from the lodge will be pleasure of the day. The pine forest and sweet bird calls will fill the beauty of the Mt.Victoria which is the most famous birding area for many endangered species of Myanmar. Following the arrival begin our hiking from the base camp, 6500 ft above sea level, to the top, 10200 ft. At the first 45 minutes of the 3-hour-trek, the quick step becomes difficult. Apply your photography at the top during the period of tea and snacks, and then return to our jeep within 2 hours. The trek down is much easier than the way up.
Continue to Aye Village, 12 miles far away from the base camp for one and a half hours driving by jeep/4WD. It is a small Chin village, meaning very cold in accord with her name, lied on the cliff of the forest hill. Once been one of the British hill camps, there are still some colonial’s old and dinky buildings in the icy cold climate. After sightseeing in the village, in which women with tattoo faces as they love tradition, in the evening, catch pleasurable dinner and overnight in the village.
Overnight in Aye Village.
Days 5: Aye Village to Mathubi (B,L,D,)
In the fresh morning, you will head to Mathubi which is a township of Mindat Distinct in Chin State of Myanmar. Matupi is the administrative center for the township.
The town Mathubi is situated at the height over 3500 feet. Madu, Dye, Marah, Sotone and Laukturacces of Chin Nationality live together in this town. Major economy of Chin Nationalities is the agriculture of moving farms system.
Overnight in Mathubi.
Days 6: Mathubi to Layshin by car and trek to PwayLi (B, L, D )
Take a car from Mathubi to Layshin. On arrival, we then trek to Pwayli Village around about 6 hours. The view of the Pwayli Village is amazing.
Overnight in Pwayli Village.
Days 7: Pwe Li to Kan Taung (B, L, D )
For the breakfast, your guide will be cooking for you and you can have the local homemade breakfast. After that, meet & greet with Villagers & continue to the journeys. Experience the Chin tattoo women on the way villages and beautiful nature of chin people. After 6 or 7 hours walking, your guide will take you to the village where for relaxation & dinner.
Overnight in Kan Taung.
Days 8: Kan Taung to Wa Tine Kong (B,L,D)
As a normal day, after breakfast at village, moving forward to Wa Tine Kone about 7 hours long. During the way, you can relaxing for a while under the trees & learning the Chin People nature, deep breath of the fresh air and touching the new experience.
Overnight at some local village for your safety.
Days 9: Wa Tine Kong to Har Htone Kone and then to Samee (B, L, D )
Before you leave the Chin local village, if you want to experience the self-cooking for breakfast, you can join with your guide for cooking breakfast. After the breakfast, your local guide will take you to Mar Tone Kone about 5 hours long. And then you will enjoy your lunch there. Continue to Samee for taking boat ride to Kyauk Taw. It will take about 5 hours.

Days 10: Samee to Kyauk Taw by boat (B, L, D)
After the breakfast at Samee, you will be transferred to the jetty to take the boat to Kyauk Taw. Kyauk Taw is belong to the Rakhine State and your journey is now at the Rakhine State & you can feel the different culture of Rakhine People. Upon arrival at the Kyauk Taw, we will transfer to the Guest house.
Overnight at Kyauk Taw.
Days 11: Kyauk Taw to Mrauk U (B, L, D )
At the morning, you can feel the sunrise of Rakhine State and have the breakfast. After breakfast, about 3 hours’ drive to Mrauk U.
Overnight in Mrauk U.
Days 12: Mrauk U to Sittwe by boat and then flight to Yangon (B)
In the morning, you will take a boat from Mrauk U to Sittway. On Arrival, transfer to the airport to fly back to Yangon. Then transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Yangon.
